Sponsorship and relocation are not available for this position.</strong> <br><br><b> Position Summary </b> <br> <br> Facilitate day to day Indirect Purchasing activities, including driving cost optimization, supplier accountability, process excellence, and sourcing initiatives across categories. <br><br><b> Essential Functions </b> <br> <ul> <li> Vendor vetting and setup - requesting and receiving required paperwork </li> <li> Handle the purchasing of supplies, shop tools and other items needed for both the corporate office and the field. </li> <li> Support broader procurement strategy initiatives by analyzing spend data and identifying opportunities for process improvement and vendor consolidation </li> </ul> <br> <b> As Needed Functions </b> <br> <ul> <li> Coordinate the implementation of new or updated national accounts, including overseeing office supplies, furniture, and travel. </li> <li> Support all functions across the Procurement Department. </li> <li> Assist with the RFQ process from vendor evaluation through pricing analysis and negotiation. </li> </ul><br><br><ul> <li> High school diploma or equivalent </li> <li> Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) </li> <li> Strong written and verbal communication skills. </li> <li> Strong analytical and interpersonal skills </li> <li> Ability to handle multiple tasks, with awareness of deadlines. </li> <li> Ability to identify processes needing improvement, and to recommend improvements. </li> <li> Ability to use independent judgment to make decisions. </li> <li> Basic familiarity with accounts payable and accounting processes is a plus </li> </ul><br>Note: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
