Sponsorship is not available for this position. <br><br><b> Position Summary </b> <br><br>This position is responsible for the accounting and finance operations of the organization including financial close, financial consolidation and internal reporting, accounting policy and procedures, and financial systems. <br><br><b> Essential Functions </b> <br> <ul> <li> Lead the accounting function and teams with a continuous focus on improving policies, processes, procedures, and systems </li> <li> Manage the month-end close process including entity consolidations, corporate entries, and the finalization of a monthly trial balance. Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and conformity with professional accounting standards and best practices in accordance with US GAAP. </li> <li> Interpret and analyze monthly/quarterly/annual results. <ul> <li> Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports. </li> <li> Review and approve financial statements to ensure accuracy of financial information and compliance with US GAAP. </li> <li> Review and approve account reconciliations (quarterly, at a minimum). </li> <li> Review and approve monthly account fluctuation explanations. </li> </ul> </li> <li> Oversee and coordinate the activities of the external auditors to ensure successful completion of annual financial audit. </li> <li> Participate in the development of the Company's strategic and financial planning activities with senior management, including the evaluation and impact of new initiatives and regulatory developments on the business. </li> <li> Represent the accounting function in acquisition analysis and acquisition integration. </li> <li> Participate in ongoing organizational and individual development within the accounting organization to be able to transform and adapt the accounting organization to the Company's changing business needs and strategies. <ul> <li> Builds and enhances a strong accounting team that provides proactive support and results-driven execution of responsibilities to meet the current and future needs of the business. </li> <li> Manages and coaches employees to facilitate engagement and professional development. Continually strives to develop talent within the accounting organization to promote individual development. </li> <li> Aligns and activates resources to resolve issues and/or take advantage of opportunities arising from organizational change. </li> </ul> </li> </ul><br><br><ul> <li> Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance </li> <li> Certified Public Accounting (CPA) designation preferred </li> <li> 8+ years of accounting experience, with experience in a corporate controller role </li> <li> Excellent management and leadership skills; able to build effective teams; demonstrated ability to coach and develop team members </li> <li> Critical thinking and analytical skills, including the capacity to identify, assess and prioritize competing interests and needs </li> <li> Skills and ability to clearly and concisely communicate verbally and in writing to convey complex concepts clearly and logically </li> <li> Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriate discretion </li> <li> Skill and ability to strategically execute within a fast-paced, deadline-oriented and complex environment </li> </ul><br>Note: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
